Cynthia Morgan rules out music comeback, says she’s focused on real estate and ministry

Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan has disclosed that she currently has no plans to return to the music industry, despite fans’ hopes and fundraising efforts for her comeback.

In a video message shared online following the circulation of an old clip showing her in a vulnerable state, Morgan clarified that the footage is over a year old and that she is now in a much better place. She thanked her fans for their concern and support, including those who initiated a GoFundMe campaign to assist her return to music.

However, the singer made it clear that music is no longer her priority. “My immediate goal or my future goal is not to get back to music,” Morgan said, adding that she is now focusing on real estate and ministry. “If I ever decide to do music again, it would just be for the fun of it,” she added.

She further explained her hesitance to embrace the idea of a new GoFundMe, citing a previous experience in which funds raised on her behalf were not received due to the account being allegedly shut down by the handler.

Morgan, who rose to fame in the 2010s with hits like German Juice, expressed that her music journey, though once filled with passion, left her feeling unfulfilled. “I didn’t get what I deserved, but I give all glory to God,” she said, reflecting on her decade-long career in the industry.

Though she did not rule out the possibility of making music again someday, Morgan urged fans to temper their expectations. “You never can tell what tomorrow holds… But getting back to music is not definite and that’s what it is.”

The singer ended her message by expressing gratitude to her supporters and asking for continued prayers as she steps into a new chapter of her life.
