Cubana chief priest appointed Imo director of city boy movement

Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been appointed as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a youth-oriented group backing President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
The appointment was announced via the movement’s official Instagram page on Thursday.
According to CBM, Cubana Chief Priest was selected for his influence, experience and people-centred approach to political mobilisation in support of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
In a statement accompanying the announcement, the group described him as “a symbol of dedication, strategic leadership and unwavering commitment” to the growth of the City Boy Movement.
The statement added that, in his new role, Cubana Chief Priest is expected to lead grassroots mobilisation efforts, strengthen party structures in Imo State and advance the objectives of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
CBM also expressed confidence that the appointment would enhance political engagement and unity in the state, noting that Imo remains positioned for inclusive development and sustained participation ahead of future elections.
