Cristiano Ronaldo makes history with 700 official club victories

Cristiano Ronaldo has reached yet another incredible milestone in his legendary football career. The 39-year-old Portuguese superstar is now the first player in history to achieve 700 official club victories.

Ronaldo marked this achievement on Thursday, January 30, 2025, following Al-Nassr’s 2-1 victory over Al-Raed in the Saudi Pro League. In the match, Ronaldo played a key role, scoring the opening goal in the 35th minute after receiving a pass from Marcelo Brozovic. Just after halftime, he set up Nawaf Al-Boushail for a second goal (47′), putting Al-Nassr 2-0 ahead. Al-Raed’s Amir Sayoud scored their only goal in the 76th minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the result, with the final score ending 2-1 in favor of Al-Nassr.

With this victory, Ronaldo has now reached 700 club-level wins throughout his career, making him the only player to have achieved such a feat, according to Marca.

Ronaldo’s football journey began at Sporting CP, where he won 13 matches. He then joined Manchester United in 2003, playing two separate stints (2003–2009 and 2021–2022) and winning 215 matches across all competitions. From 2009 to 2018, Ronaldo was part of Real Madrid, where he earned 316 victories. At Juventus, between 2018 and 2021, he helped the team win 91 matches. Since joining Al-Nassr in January 2023, Ronaldo has won 66 matches with the Saudi Arabian club.

This latest milestone is another testament to Ronaldo’s enduring excellence and his place as one of football’s all-time greats.
