Chelsea striker close to joining Ipswich Town on loan
Chelsea striker Armando Broja is poised to join Ipswich Town on a season-long loan.
The agreement will include a mandatory option to buy at the end of the season.
Broja has been sidelined by new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca but will continue his Premier League career with Ipswich Town.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Broja’s medical with Ipswich has been scheduled.
Romano posted on X: “Ipswich Town are finalizing the deal to sign Armando Broja with medical tests booked!
“Season-long loan from Chelsea, salary covered…understand clubs are now discussing a buy clause that could also be mandatory.
“Deal almost closed, as @Stuart_Watson says.
“Here we go, soon.”
