Chelsea has agreed to sell Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku to rivals Aston Villa, according to the Italian publication, Il Mattino.
Lukaku – also being pursued by Napoli – now looks set to leave Stamford Bridge permanently this summer.
The Belgium international spent the last two seasons on loan at Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Roma.
Though Napoli has yet to find a destination for Victor Osimhen, Chelsea has now reached an agreement with Villa for Lukaku.
It is of course down to Lukaku to decide if he wants to join Unai Emery’s men or he will wait to seal a return to Serie A.
Chelsea is hoping to sort out his exit before they take on Manchester City in the Premier League Matchday 1 on August 18.
