Casemiro offered £650,000-a-week to join Ronaldo at Al-Nassr
Manchester United’s Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro, has been presented with an astonishing £650,000-a-week contract offer to team up again with Cristiano Ronaldo at Al-Nassr.
According to reports from GiveMeSport on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Casemiro is poised to depart from Old Trafford in the January transfer window. This potential move is being driven by the Saudi Pro League’s sporting director, Michael Emenalo, who is eager to incorporate Casemiro’s “world-class” abilities into the Al-Nassr squad.
At 32 years old, Casemiro would become one of the highest-paid players in the Saudi Pro League if he accepts the deal. He joined Manchester United from Real Madrid in August 2022 for a £70 million transfer fee but has not been as impactful in his second season under the management of Ruben Amorim.
With 18 months remaining on his current contract, which includes substantial bonuses, Casemiro currently earns around £450,000 per week at United. However, his market value has declined, and the club is prepared to let him go for a fee around £25 million if they choose to sell him in January.
