Cardi B blasts Offset over spousal support request amid divorce battle

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B has lashed out at her estranged husband, Offset, after learning he filed for spousal support in their ongoing divorce proceedings.

In an emotionally charged rant on X Spaces on Friday (May 30), the Bronx-born star criticized Offset’s request and accused him of neglecting their children.

“You a b—h. N—a, you a f—ing b—h,” Cardi said during the livestream, responding to Offset’s claim that her demands and restrictions on seeing their kids drove him to seek support. The rapper also vehemently denied preventing Offset from spending time with their children, saying, “He stood up my kids three times.”

Cardi B revealed she amended her divorce petition to exclude any request for child support, explaining that she wants a clean break. “I want to be done with this marriage,” she said. She added that Offset has only seen their four-month-old daughter, Blossom, a handful of times and hasn’t visited the kids since March, during his son Kody’s birthday celebration.

The outburst followed reports that Offset filed documents in Bergen County Superior Court, New Jersey, requesting alimony from Cardi, though the amount remains unspecified.

Cardi B initially filed for divorce in August her second attempt to legally separate from the Migos rapper after more than six years of marriage. She sought primary custody of their three children: Kulture (6), Wave (3), and infant Blossom. In response, Offset requested joint custody.

Meanwhile, speculation about Cardi B’s personal life has intensified after she was recently seen courtside at a New York Knicks playoff game with NFL star Stefon Diggs, suggesting she may be moving on.
