Burna Boy performs at England Women’s Euro trophy parade at Buckingham Palace

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, thrilled fans with a performance at the England Women’s Euro trophy parade held at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday.

The African Giant joined the Lionesses—who recently retained their European Championship title after a dramatic 3-1 penalty shootout win over Spain following a 1-1 draw in extra time—on stage to perform his hit song “For My Hand”, originally featuring British pop star Ed Sheeran.

Burna Boy’s energetic performance electrified the atmosphere, with England manager Sarina Wiegman, the victorious Lionesses, and an estimated 100,000 fans in high spirits during the celebration.

This appearance adds to Burna Boy’s growing list of historic international performances. He notably became the first African artist to perform at a UEFA Champions League final in 2023, where he co-headlined the Kick-Off Show alongside Brazilian pop sensation Anitta.
