BREAKING: President Tinubu reassures Nigerians of light at the end of the tunnel
President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerians to be patient, promising that the country is nearing a new era of improvement.
In a statement on Wednesday, Tinubu acknowledged the current difficulties caused by the removal of the fuel subsidy. He admitted that the delay between the subsidy removal and the implementation of his plans has worsened the situation.
“Fellow Nigerians, I know this period is tough, but I urge you to look beyond these temporary pains. Our plans are in place and will work. There was a delay between the subsidy removal and the rollout of these plans,” Tinubu said.
He reassured Nigerians that his administration’s measures will address the ongoing economic challenges and improve the country’s future.
“I ask for your faith in our ability to deliver and in our concern for your well-being. We will overcome these challenges, and Nigeria will be better equipped for the future,” Tinubu continued.
He promised to make education more affordable and provide loans to students in need, ensuring that no student will have to leave higher education due to financial constraints.
“We are committed to doing the greatest good for the most people. I assure you, we are moving from darkness to a new and glorious dawn. Now, I must get back to work to make this vision a reality,” he added.
This is Tinubu’s second address to Nigerians amid ongoing tensions in the country.
