BREAKING: Governor Sanwo-Olu dons NYSC khaki, gifts over 4,200 corp members N100,000 each
The Lagos State Governor, Babjide Sanwo-Olu, has visited the State National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camp and gifted the more than 4,200 youth corps members N400 million for their hard work.
Sanwo-Olu donated the funds at the camp at Iyana Ipaja, on Tuesday, July 16.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course, he vowed to approve N5bn for the construction of the new permanent NYSC camp.
Sanwo-Olu in a now trending video (https://www.instagram.com/p/C9etLFWKWRn/) on social media, the Governor arrived at the Camp wearing the NYSC uniform.
“For all 4,254 for this batch and with all sense of responsibility and because you have been very hardworking, each of you will go home with N100,000, the money will be made available into your accounts by next week and your directors will credit your account.”
” I will release 5bn this year alone to start the full development of the permanent site for NYSC.”
