BREAKING: FG announces free train rides for Nigerians from Dec 20 to Jan 5

The Federal Government has announced that Nigerians can enjoy free train rides for travel during the Christmas holidays. Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, made the announcement on Monday following the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The free train service will begin on December 20, 2024, and will run through to January 5, 2025. Nigerians will be able to access the train rides on all routes currently served by the country’s train services.
