Bimbo Ademoye opens up about pre-release anxiety ahead of new movie premiere

Nollywood actress and producer Bimbo Ademoye has revealed she is experiencing intense anxiety ahead of the release of her upcoming movie, despite being confident in the project’s quality and the support of her fan base.
In a heartfelt post on social media, Ademoye admitted that she feels “scared and nervous” as she prepares to launch the film, which features a star-studded Nigerian cast, custom-built sets, and extensive production hours. Although the official release date remains undisclosed, she stated that the countdown to the premiere will begin “tomorrow,” hinting that the release is only days away.
“This is the most nervous I’ve ever been,” she wrote, clarifying that her fear is not due to doubts about the film, but rather the emotional pressure tied to each new release. “Not because I feel it’s a bad film… I just get nervous.”
The actress, known for her authenticity and emotional transparency with her audience, thanked her loyal fans—whom she fondly refers to as her “cyber family”—for their continued love and support. “There’d be no me without you… God knew I needed you,” she wrote.
Ademoye also shared a touching moment with her mother and aunt, who reminded her that her success is rooted in divine purpose. “Everything you get involved in prospers, not because you’re better than anybody, but because, thus says the Lord,” she quoted.
The post concluded with a rallying message to fans to stay alert for updates: “We have whipped it up in the kitchen, now it’s almost time to eat. Brace up. WE ARE COMING.”
Veteran actress Toyin Abraham also showed support, commenting, “You can’t be scared Aisha, we have God and I’m here anytime to always hold your hands. I love you so much, baby.”
The upcoming project marks another significant milestone for Ademoye, who continues to earn praise for her contributions to Nigeria’s film industry.
