Bayelsa Queens head coach Whyte Ogbonda has explained the rationale behind the signing of Yinusa Zainab, Confidence Onen, and Oscar Precious.
Ogbonda indicated that these additions aim to strengthen the team’s attacking options ahead of the 2024-25 Nigeria Women Football League season. He believes that the trio will enhance the team’s competitiveness in the upcoming league.
“With the three new players, we are well prepared for the commencement of the league,” Whyte told Bayelsa Queens media.
“We had difficulty in scoring goals last season, but with the addition of two strikers and one attacking midfielder, the Prosperity Girls are good to go.”
