Bala Abubakar is set to lead Sunshine Stars in his first match as the club’s technical adviser, with the team set to face El-Kanemi Warriors in a crucial matchday 18 fixture.
Abubakar, who was appointed head coach of Sunshine Stars last week, took charge of training for the first time on Friday, December 20, ahead of the Sunday, December 23 clash.
The young tactician, who has previously managed Kwara United and Doma United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), is eager to make an impact in his new role.
Sunshine Stars, currently sitting in 18th place with 18 points from 17 games, will be looking to improve their fortunes after a record of five wins, three draws, and nine defeats. The match will take place at Remo Stars Stadium.
