Anambra monarchs confer chieftaincy title on President Tinubu during landmark visit

President Bola Tinubu was on Thursday conferred with a chieftaincy title, ‘Dike Si Mba’  meaning ‘Hero from Another Land’  by traditional rulers in Anambra State during his official visit to the South-East state.

The honour was bestowed by the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, led by its Chairman, Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi, at a ceremony in Awka. The title, representing respect and recognition from all communities across the state, was presented to the President as a symbol of appreciation and unity.

President Tinubu arrived at the Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri around 12:15 p.m., where he was received by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Deputy Governor Onyeka Ibezim, and other top officials.

During the visit, Tinubu inaugurated Anambra State’s first-ever Government House, over three decades after the state’s creation in 1991. The President also commissioned several other landmark projects completed under Governor Soludo’s administration.

Thursday’s trip marks President Tinubu’s second official visit to the South-East this year, following his earlier visit to Enugu State in January.
