Akpabio’s wife dismisses sexual harassment claims, calls Natasha a liar

Unoma Akpabio, wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has strongly dismissed sexual harassment allegations made against her husband by Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti.

Unoma accused Natasha of falsely maligning her husband and “creating content for personal gains.”

The accusations were made earlier by Senator Akpoti, who claimed that Akpabio made inappropriate sexual advances towards her, even in the presence of her own husband. The Kogi-born lawmaker detailed her ordeal during an interview on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Akpoti-Uduaghan further alleged that Akpabio blocked her motions from being heard in the Senate after she rejected his advances.

In response, Unoma held a press conference in Abuja, where she rejected the claims. She described her husband as a disciplined and jovial person, emphasizing that he is often misinterpreted.
