Aiyedatiwa hails Yilwatda’s emergence as APC chairman, predicts sweeping electoral victories

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will grow stronger and achieve sweeping victories in future elections under the leadership of its newly appointed National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda.
Yilwatda was unanimously endorsed by the APC’s National Executive Council (NEC) during a recent meeting in Abuja.
In a congratulatory message, Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the party’s leadership for the peaceful and orderly process that led to Yilwatda’s emergence, describing it as a “beautiful turning point” for the APC.
“The APC, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, now has a brand-new National Chairman in the person of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, following the just-concluded NEC meeting in Abuja,” he said. “This marks a new chapter and sets the stage for overwhelming victories in the forthcoming elections at all levels nationwide.”
The governor praised Yilwatda’s leadership qualities, stating that he is confident in his capacity to “organize, re-engineer, and reposition” the APC for greater success. He also acknowledged the contributions of the immediate past chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, in expanding the party’s membership.
“Prof. Yilwatda has the charisma and competence to build on that momentum,” Aiyedatiwa said.
He also lauded President Tinubu for his “trademark ability to identify and elevate competent leaders,” noting that Yilwatda’s appointment reflects the President’s long-standing knack for spotting talent.
“On behalf of the APC faithful in Ondo State, I salute the gallantry of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and pledge our full support for his vision and plans to advance our party,” he added.
Governor Aiyedatiwa concluded by declaring that “the future is green” for the APC and that Yilwatda’s leadership will positively impact the party and the Nigerian people.
