The Super Eagles will commence their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with a training camp starting on Sunday, September 1. The team is gearing up for their upcoming matches against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic and the Amavubi of Rwanda.
Nigeria will first host Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, September 7. Three days later, on September 10, they will travel to Kigali to face Rwanda at the newly refurbished Amahoro Stadium.
As of now, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has not announced a permanent head coach for the Super Eagles, and the list of players selected for the qualifiers has yet to be released. Augustine Eguavoen, the NFF Technical Director, is expected to lead the team for these crucial fixtures.
