AFCON 2025 Qualifiers: Iheanacho, Okoye, Ndidi join Super Eagles in Abidjan

Three more players – Kelechi Iheanacho, Maduka Okoye, and Wilfred Ndidi – have joined the Super Eagles camp in Abidjan ahead of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Benin Republic, DAILY POST reports.

With their arrival, the total number of players in camp has increased to 11. Eight players had already reported for duty on Monday as the team settles in Abidjan, preparing for the upcoming tie against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic.

A total of 13 more players are still expected to join the camp before the match.

The Cheetahs will host the Super Eagles at their adopted home ground, Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium, in Abidjan on Thursday. The match is set to kick off at 8 p.m. Nigeria time.
