An Adamawa state police inspector, Dasu Kassa, has reportedly taken his own life.
Kassa was found dead at his home in Anguwan Yungur, Girei local government area, on Monday, July 22.
According to reports, Kassa had returned from a hospital in Yola earlier that evening.
Family sources believe that financial difficulties and medical expenses may have been contributing factors to his decision.
The police are investigating the matter to determine the circumstances surrounding Kassa’s death.
