Abia Warriors head coach Amakpakabo urges players to improve
Abia Warriors head coach Imama Amakpakabo is determined to see his team strive for better results as they continue their campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.
After securing just one point from their first two matches, Amakpakabo emphasized the importance of fighting for the remaining points available in the league. “I told my players before the start of the season that we have 114 points to play for and we have lost five points after a defeat and a draw to Remo Stars and Akwa United respectively,” he stated in an interview with Abia Warriors media.
Looking ahead, Abia Warriors will travel to Ijebu-Ode to face Sunshine Stars. Amakpakabo noted, “We still have about 108 points to play for, and we are going to play for all the points remaining.” His message reflects a strong commitment to improving their performance as the season progresses.
