Popular comedian and activist, Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz the Bahd Guy, has set the record straight on his relationship with singer Simi, stressing that their relationship doesn’t go beyond music.
In an interview with Hip TV, Falz revealed that he reached out to Simi in 2013 or 2014 after hearing her breakout song “Jamb Question” and collaborated on a remix, leading to a natural musical chemistry that inspired future collaborations, including his recent feature on “Borrow Me Your Baby” from Simi’s latest album “Lost And Found”.
The two sparked dating rumors with their 2016 joint EP “Chemistry”, but Falz clarified that their relationship was never romantic. Simi’s marriage to Adekunle Gold in January 2019 and the birth of their child, Adejare, in 2020, had already put those rumors to rest.
