I don’t depend on others for promotion, I’ll change Nigerian cinema – Ruth Kadiri

Seasoned Nollywood actress and film producer Ruth Kadiri has promised to do all she can to revamp Nigerian cinema.

Kadiri said this in an Instagram post, assuring her fans and the public of her commitment to creating a brand that will earn the trust of the audience.

While outlining her vision, Kadiri emphasized that she does not depend on others in the industry for promotion.

She wrote: “The way my brain functions, I ask myself what would become of my brand if I had no promotional help. Truthfully, I do not bank on anyone so when you choose not to offer help, I’m not really bothered.

“I will change the pattern in Nigerian cinema, I promise you all. You will watch my movie not because someone begged you to watch it, but because you trust me. I am here to build a brand of longevity that definitely does not require constant begging.

“I, Ruth Kadiri, am not in a hurry; don’t worry about that. Building a solid structure is all I’m about.”
