Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has named Real Madrid’s Antonio Rudiger as his ideal centreback partner.

Rudiger shone during the 2023-24 season for Real Madrid, overcoming significant challenges. He was key to the galacticos securing 21 clean sheets and maintaining the best defensive record in La Liga, en route to winning the league, conceding only 26 goals in 38 games.

When asked to pick his perfect centerback in a recent interview, Rio Ferdinand picked Rudiger.
