Arsenal brushes past Luton Town to return to top spot

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal walked away from their clash against Luton Town with a routine 2-0 victory.

The match was played at the Emirates in London, yesterday, April 3rd.

The game was easy for the Gunners, as they took the lead in the 24th minute through captain Martin Odegard’s goal. A superb cross from Emile Smith-Rowe in the 44th minute was bundled in by Luton’s Daiki Hashioka, ending the scoring for the night.

This win puts Arteta’s men top of the Premier League table, with Liverpool still to play.

Arsenal now has 68 points, but they’re going to lose top spot if Liverpool wins their game against bottom-placed Sheffield United tonight.
