FC Bayern will welcome Borussia Dortmund to the Allianz Arena tomorrow evening in what will be a heated clash.
Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern and Edin Terzic’s Dortmund dragged the title race to the wire last season, with Dortmund having the advantage to win the league title if they win their game.
Bayern, for their part, needed to win, but also needed Dortmund to draw or lose their game, before they could be called champions.
Dortmund ended up drawing their game 2-2, and Bayern ended up winning their game 1-0 through a Jamal Musiala goal late in the game.
Dortmund could only blame themselves, as they had numerous opportunities to win the game, but squandered everything. Sebastian Haller even missed a penalty.
Bayern and Dortmund have always been rivals, and even though there’s no chance of both teams switching positions depending on the outcome, each side would still want to win this clash whenever it comes up.
Bayern is currently in 2nd place with 60 points, with Dortmund in 4th with 50 points.
