A newborn baby abandoned in Minna, Niger State has been rescued.
Residents said a Good Samaritan found the baby inside a carton at about 6:25pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Western bypass, behind Bosso Estate.
According to one Huzaifa Usman, the baby is now under the care of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
In her words, “This child was found in a cartoon, dump at western bypass, behind bosso estate Minna Niger state. His now in orphanage home, under the care Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development Big thanks to crusader radio and Child right agency for a job well done.”
