Nigerian music icons Davido, Tems, and Lojay showcased Nigeria’s talent at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, clinching several awards.
The awards ceremony, hosted virtually at naacpimageawards.net on Monday, March 11, celebrated outstanding achievements in various categories.
Tems received the Outstanding International Song award for her track “Me & U.”
Additionally, Davido and Lojay were honored for their collaboration on Chris Brown’s “Sensational,” earning the Outstanding Duo, Group, or Collaboration (contemporary) award.
At the 55th Image Awards, Chris Brown and Victoria Monét took home the most prizes, each taking home two awards.
Chris Brown took home the awards for best contemporary collaboration for his hit song “Sensational,” which included Davido and Lojay, and best traditional duo for his featured role in Ciara’s “How We Roll.”
With “Jaguar II,” Monét received awards for both excellent album and outstanding new artist.
