Popular Nollywood stars Funke Akindele and Faithia Williams have caused a stir by unfollowing each other on Instagram.
The two actresses, once known for their close friendship and mutual support, reportedly grew apart after a recent disagreement. Sources suggest that the rift began when Faithia Williams skipped Akindele’s recent movie premiere, but attended that of fellow actress Mercy Aigbe instead. This action appeared to be a response to Akindele’s absence at the burial of Faithia’s father, despite being invited.
In response to Faithia’s actions, Funke Akindele reportedly unfollowed her on Instagram. A check by DAILY POST confirmed that the two stars are no longer following each other on the platform.
