Yahaya Bello voluntarily appears at EFCC office again over fund mismanagement

On Tuesday, November 26, Yahaya Bello, the former Governor of Kogi State, showed up at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) office once again in response to an invitation over accusations of misappropriating funds.

Bello arrived at the EFCC with his legal team early in the morning, following a recent Supreme Court ruling that dismissed the challenge against the constitutionality of the anti-graft agency.

He drove himself to the EFCC office in a black Hilux truck.

This is part of a new investigation into Bello, which was first brought up during a hearing on November 14, when the EFCC requested an adjournment to November 27. They explained that the 30-day window for the summons issued earlier was still in effect.
