Nigeria’s Super Falcons will find out their group stage opponents for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) on Friday.
The draw will take place at the Technical Centre of the Mohamed VI Football Complex in Sale, near Rabat, Morocco.
A total of twelve teams will compete for the prestigious title at the biennial tournament, which is set to run from July 5th to 26th, 2025.
Hosts Morocco, defending champions South Africa, Zambia, and Ghana are among the teams in the running, alongside Algeria, Botswana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tunisia, Senegal, Tanzania, and Mali.
The Super Falcons are the most successful team in WAFCON history, having won the title nine times.
