FCDA executive secretary Shehu Ahmad suspended indefinitely

The Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Shehu Ahmad, has been suspended indefinitely, effective immediately, according to a statement released on Thursday, November 14.

Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, confirmed the suspension in the statement.

Ahmad has been directed to hand over responsibilities to the Director of Engineering Services at the FCDA, ensuring a seamless transition of duties.

While the statement announced the suspension, it did not provide specific reasons for the action, leaving the circumstances surrounding it unclear.
