Sokoto United’s Jibrin earns Super Eagles B call-up for CHAN qualifiers
Sokoto United defender Ishaku Jibrin has been called up to the Super Eagles B team for Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying match against Ghana.
Jibrin, a standout right-back for Sokoto United, was among the players selected by caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen, who has been tasked with leading the CHAN Eagles as they prepare for the crucial fixture. The first leg of the qualifying match will take place between December 20th and 22nd, with the return leg scheduled for the following week. The overall winner of the two-legged tie will secure a spot in the 2025 CHAN competition, which will be co-hosted by Kenya, Morocco, and Tanzania.
