Graham Potter praises Moises Caicedo after strong performance
Former Chelsea manager Graham Potter has praised midfielder Moises Caicedo following his impressive display in the Blues’ 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
In the match, Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring with a penalty in the 70th minute, but Caicedo quickly responded, equalizing for Chelsea just four minutes later with a remarkable strike.
Speaking about Caicedo, Potter noted the midfielder’s character, describing him as “really nice” and “humble.” He emphasized, “He’s a really nice person. Humble, wants to learn and improve and fight for the team. As a human being, he’s top; I’m really pleased for him.”
Potter acknowledged the pressure that comes with being a high-profile signing, especially after Caicedo’s £100 million transfer. “I think it’s only natural that there’s pressure. The team is trying to function better than it was. You expect a lot for that type of money.”
