Senate starts screening new minister nominees

On Wednesday, October 30, the Nigerian Senate began the important task of screening the ministerial nominees sent by President Bola Tinubu.

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, the screening was postponed to ensure everything was ready. The process officially kicked off at 1:10 PM on Wednesday.

All seven nominees were listed on the Order Paper for review. The first nominee to be screened was Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda from Plateau State. The other nominees include Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad.
