On Wednesday, October 23, police reported that three individuals have been found dead at the Gainsborough Care Home in Swanage, southwest England. The deaths are currently being treated as “unexplained.”
A spokesman for Dorset police shared that four other residents have been taken to the hospital as a precaution. Additionally, other residents were safely evacuated as emergency services responded to the situation. He assured, “At this time there is nothing to indicate any risk to the wider public.”
Police have not provided further details about what happened. The South Western Ambulance Service mentioned that they took two patients to the hospital and dispatched a Hazardous Area Response Team, along with ten double-crewed ambulances and several other resources to assist.
