Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho has withdrawn from international duty due to a knee injury.
Garnacho played the full match in United’s 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday but has now confirmed he won’t be joining his Argentina teammates during this international break.
“I had knee problems in the last two matches, and I won’t be able to be with the national team. I hope to recover soon so I can be on the next date,” Garnacho stated.
He will remain in the UK to undergo assessment by Manchester United’s medical team.
