Prominent Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has accepted Wanni’s request to join her movie production team, following the housemate’s appeal on the current season of Big Brother Naija.
During a conversation with fellow housemates on Wednesday, October 2, Wanni expressed her desire to work with Akindele. She stated, “Me, I want to be in Funke Akindele’s and Kunle Afolayan’s production. Funke Akindele is very big. The quality of her movies is top notch and she has been in the game. She’s OG.”
An X user, @GloriaNapier9, shared the clip of Wanni’s comments and tagged Akindele, urging her to consider Wanni’s request. The user wrote, “@funkeakindele your highness ma. No one does it like you ma, please hear our baby’s request. Thank you in advance.”
In response, Akindele confirmed her acceptance by resharing the video on X, stating, “Will be waiting. All the best dear.” The post has since gained significant attention online.
