Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star Davido has made headlines again by gifting his personal driver, Tunde Yussuf, a shiny new Lexus SUV.
Tunde, who also helps with tours, shared a photo of his awesome gift on Instagram, overflowing with gratitude. He wrote, “Congratulations to me🙏🙏🙏🙏 God bless you 001 my boss @davido You no go ever fall my oga. OBO DAN DO AM AGAIN.”
His heartfelt post received over 4,000 likes, including one from Davido, along with lots of congratulatory messages from fans.
This isn’t the first time Davido has shown his generosity. He previously surprised aide Afeare Isreal with a Toyota Venza and gifted his assistant Lateef Biola a truck for his birthday in 2017.
Davido’s kindness goes beyond his team, too. On his birthday in 2021, he raised a whopping N250 million for orphanages in Nigeria. Last year, he donated N237 million to orphanages in July and N300 million in February.
His big-hearted acts have made him beloved by fans and peers alike, proving that he’s not just a talented artist but also a compassionate friend.
