Okocha, Eguavoen to participate in CAF coaches symposium in Abidjan
Super Eagles legend Austine Jay Jay Okocha is among the distinguished former African football stars set to attend the 2023 CAF Coaches Symposium.
The event will be held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, from Thursday, September 12 to Friday, September 13, 2024.
The symposium will also feature football icons such as El-Hadji Diouf, Antoine Bell, Mark Fish, and Otto Addo. Additionally, Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen, Fulham legend Luis Boa Morte—now the coach of Guinea-Bissau—and Senegal’s Pape Thiaw will be in attendance.
This symposium marks the first of its kind, bringing together 50 national team coaches from across CAF’s Member Associations. The two-day event aims to facilitate an exchange of ideas and experiences among Africa’s leading coaches.
