Renowned American rapper and radio personality Isaac Freeman, better known as Fatman Scoop, has passed away at the age of 53.
Fatman Scoop died following a medical emergency that occurred during a concert. The incident happened on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Hamden Town Center Park in Connecticut, where Scoop collapsed on stage.
His tour manager announced his death on Saturday, August 31, 2024, expressing that he was ‘lost for words’ over the tragedy.
A video that went viral on social media captured the moment Scoop fell on stage while performing at what turned out to be his final show. He was seen struggling after climbing the stage, and medics quickly rushed to assist him. Despite their efforts to revive him, Scoop did not recover.
