EFCC questions man arrested for impersonating its staff

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is investigating Solomon Yohana, who is accused of pretending to be an EFCC staff member.

The Gombe Zonal Directorate of the EFCC began the inquiry after Yohana was arrested on August 19 by the Department of State Services (DSS) in Guyuk Local Government Area, Adamawa.

EFCC Spokesperson Dele Oyewale shared the news in a statement on Wednesday, August 28.

At the time of his arrest, the following items were recovered from Yohana: a fake EFCC ID card, counterfeit EFCC letterheads, a fake EFCC polo shirt, and a fake Special Control Unit against Money Laundering (SCUML) shirt.

Yohana will face charges in court once the investigation is complete.
