Wizkid reveals what profession he’d have entered if music hadn’t worked out
Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Wizkid has revealed that football would have been his alternative career if music hadn’t panned out.
In a recent interview, the Nigerian artist discussed his deep love for football and his admiration for the dedication required to excel in the sport. Wizkid, who was a member of his school’s football team, admitted that his impatience and reluctance to engage in early morning training sessions led him to focus on his music career instead.
“If I wasn’t doing music, I would be playing football. I play football really well; I used to be on my school team,” he shared.
Despite his current focus on music, Wizkid continues to hold a strong respect for football and the commitment it demands.
Additionally, Wizkid opened up about his unique approach to security. Rather than traveling with bodyguards, he relies on his close-knit management team, whom he considers family, for protection.
