It’s normal if you acknowledge the source – Oladips accuses Wizkid of stealing his lyrics

Nigerian rapper Oladips has accused Grammy-winning artist Wizkid of stealing his lyrics.

Oladips claims that Wizkid incorporated lyrics from his song “Ajala Travel Remix” into his recent track with Asake, “MMS.” He has posted screenshots of the lyrics from both songs on his Instagram account to support his allegation.

When a fan suggested that sampling lyrics was “normal,” Oladips argued that it should only be done with proper authorization. He responded, “It’s normal if you acknowledge the source! No be say dem go dey pretend like say dem no know you but come dey bite your lyrics for corner.”

Wizkid has not yet responded to these allegations.
