Charly Boy charges protesters to ramp up intensity on protest demonstrations

Charly Boy, a renowned entertainer and activist, has called on Nigerian youths to escalate the ongoing EndBadGovernance protests across the country. In a recent post, he emphasized that the fight for good governance is a matter of life and death, and that the current leaders are not willing to relinquish their power without a struggle.

Charly Boy described the current leaders as “thieves, dishonest, insane, intolerable, and don’t care if we live or die.” He praised the youths for their bravery and resilience in the face of adversity, saying they are his “bragging right.” He urged them to “get louder and go pro max” to defeat the system and bring about the desired change.

The protests, which began last Thursday, aim to address the high cost of living and demand action from the government to reduce fuel and food prices. Despite President Bola Tinubu’s appeal for calm in his nationwide broadcast on Sunday, protesters continued their demonstrations on Monday, with a strong presence in many states.

However, the turnout was lower on Tuesday, allegedly due to suppression by security operatives.

Charly Boy’s call to action is a testament to his commitment to the cause and his belief in the power of the youths to bring about change. He is urging them to remain steadfast and continue fighting for their rights, even in the face of adversity.
