Julian Alvarez doubles down on comments despite reply from Guardiola
Julian Alvarez, the Manchester City and Argentina striker, has reaffirmed his previous statements regarding his future at the club, despite manager Pep Guardiola’s response.
Alvarez is contemplating leaving the Premier League champions in search of more playing time and a warmer climate.
In a recent interview with TV Publica, Alvarez maintained that he did not make any negative comments about his future at Manchester City. “I didn’t say anything bad,” he said. “I just said I need to think, as I always do after every season, to make balance. I always say I’m comfortable at Man City, a great club.”
This comes after Guardiola’s comments, “Julián played a lot. He wants more? It’s fine. So that’s why. Think about it. And when he thinks about it, he will inform us.”
