Veteran Afrobeats singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has dismissed rumours that he is broke.
During a recent episode of the +234 Mzansi Podcast, co-hosted by actor Chinedu Ani Emmanuel (aka Nedu), the ‘African Queen’ hitmaker clarified that reports of his financial difficulties are untrue.
2Baba explained that he invested his music earnings into various ventures and emphasized that he can live comfortably with or without making music.
“I’m not broke. I invested my money. I can live with or without music,” he said.
Widely regarded as one of the most bankable artists in Nigeria and Africa, 2Baba has investments in real estate, a record label, and the hospitality industry.
